The FIM Motocross World Championship resumes with the second Italian triple-header of the 2020 season, as we kick things off with the MXGP of Lombardia this weekend.
The MXGP of Lombardia will see the return of the FIM Motocross World Championship to Mantova for the 11th time, since the venue first made its appearance on the racing calendar back in 1991.Since then there has been numerous riders who have been victorious at the track including local hero Antonio Cairoli, who has won twice and will be going after a third victory this weekend as he also looks to extend his current championship lead in front of a crowd of Italian fans.
Though he will have plenty of challengers, as Jorge Prado, Jeremy Seewer and Tim Gajser will be looking for their own success in Mantova.In MX2 Tom Vialle and Jago Geerts will continue their battle for the title, as Maxime Renaux, Roan Van de Moosdijk and Thomas Kjer Olsen will be looking to get in the mix and fight for their chance on the podium.
