The last two Grand Prix’s have been a treat, as we’ve witnessed some more close battles from the main title contenders, but also throughout the whole field, both in MXGP and MX2.
Previously, it was Romain Febvre of Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team, who added a 14th Grand Prix win to his stats as he claimed the second race win in MXGP to secure his spot on the top of the box. Though the win didn’t come too easy, as the likes of Jeremy Seewer and Gautier Paulin of Monster Energy Yamaha Racing MXGP, Antonio Cairoli from Red Bull KTM Factory Racing and championship leader, Team HRC’s Tim Gajser, all played their part, which made for some very interesting races.
While in MX2, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Racing’s Thomas Kjer Olsen took a back-to-back GP victory in MX2 following some hard charging in the races that saw him beat Tom Vialle, rider of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing and F&H Kawasaki’s Roan Van de Moosdijk to the top step of the podium.
