The twelfth round of the 2022 FIM Motocross World Championship, the Grand Prix of Indonesia, is underway at the spectacular circuit of Samota-Sumbawa, which has been built specifically for this event. Whilst some believe that Indonesia cannot provide suitable tracks for the Grand Prix contingent, this appears to be one that is going to silence the critics.
Traditionally, the island is known as the source of sappanwood, as well as honey and sandalwood; and for witnessing the largest volcanic eruption in recorded human history, but it was Team HRC’s Tim Gajser who blew the roof off the MXGP class today with a double-win, adding a further 50 points to his 2022 GP tally.
