250 racing has begun in Birmingham, Alabama. For the first time, racers attempt to take victory in Protective Stadium. Max Anstie was fastest in qualifying and maintains the points lead heading into the races. Seth Hammaker was also very fast early and seemed to quickly adapt to the changing track. Haiden Deegan was within a second of the top riders but was not the fastest; however, in race conditions, he has been known to shine. Riders hit the track, and for all the information, be sure to read below. Jett Lawrence is continuing his momentum from Daytona into this evening by topping the qualifying list earlier today, though riders like Chase Sexton, Eli Tomac, and Ken Roczen were all right on his heels. As we transition into heat races, the starts will matter most. The track this evening does not have the usual whoop section; instead, it features more of a roller section. The whoops are usually a good passing point, and without them, it will be the rider with the fewest mistakes and the one who adapts to the changing conditions best who will take the win.
