After an exciting weekend at the Daytona Supercross, the 2024 series heads to Alabama for the first time, racing at Protective Stadium in Birmingham. Last weekend, Jett Lawrence was able to extend his points lead to 10 points over Cooper Webb after winning the main event. Chase Sexton looked to be up to speed after a few weekends of battling injury and has the potential to grab the top spot. Always fast, Eli Tomac has still yet to grab a win in the 2024 season, and many believe it’s only a matter of time.
As for the 250 class, the points gap is tight between the top six riders. Max Anstie still holds a one-point lead over Cameron McAdoo and Pierce Brown, who are tied for second. Just behind the leaders, there is another tie between Haiden Deegan and Tom Vialle, just three points out of the lead. Coty Schock is just four points out of the lead in sixth. Tom Vialle had an amazing race in Daytona, taking the win, and is looking to carry that momentum into Birmingham and through the rest of the season.
