We’ve reached the eleventh and final round of the AMA Pro Motocross season at the iconic Ironman National. Chase Sexton currently leads the 450 Class with a 28-point advantage over Hunter Lawrence and has a prime opportunity to clinch the title. In a surprising twist, Ken Roczen is making a return to racing this weekend, but he’ll be competing in the 250 Class on a smaller bike, which will certainly shake things up. Speaking of the 250 Class, Haiden Deegan already locked down his title last weekend at Budds Creek, capping off an impressive season.
Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana, is known for its challenging terrain, including steep hills, technical turns, and unpredictable weather conditions, making it a fan-favorite and the perfect stage for the season’s thrilling finale.
Note the big track changes to Ironman Raceway for this weekend, new:
-Start: Now a left-hand first turn into what was turn two. Instead of a 90-degree right-hand turn then the 180-degree left-hand turn, the start straight has been moved and will go directly from the gates down the starting straight and into the 180-degree left-hand turn.
-Woods section: This debuted last year for the MX Sports Pro Racing Scouting Moto Combine on Friday but will be raced during Saturday’s Pro Motocross National this year.
