The 2024 MXGP World Motocross Championships reach their conclusion this Sunday as the MXGP of Castilla La Mancha holds Round 20 at the venue of Cozar in south eastern Spain, with both MXGP & MX2 World Championships still to be decided!
Reigning MXGP World Champion Jorge Prado brings a slender seven-point advantage into the final round in his home country, with Tim Gajser still in with a big chance of taking his sixth world crown after a back-and-forth Championship battle!
A new MX2 World Champion will also be crowned at Cozar, as Kay de Wolf holds a 36-point lead over his teammate Lucas Coenen, but the Belgian has won the last two GPs and in the frantic MX2 pack it truly is possible for anything to happen!
Both classes feature a large number of riders eager to take overall victory, for some the first of their season, while Spanish riders Ruben Fernandez, Oriol Oliver, and David Braceras are all keen to get the home fans behind them!
This weekend, long-time MXGP partner Sport TV Slovenia will be LIVE and onsite with a crew to follow their star rider Gajser in his bid for the title. National Spanish television station TVE will also be onsite to feature Prado, as will TVG with their own crew, broadcasting LIVE to showcase the final round after following the whole Championship this year.
