Set amongst some of the most spectacular scenery of the entire season, round four of the MXGP World Championship, will explode on to your screens across the globe, allowing you to enjoy the full experience of one of the best events in the calendar, the MXGP of Trentino.
In MXGP, the big question has to be, “Who can beat Jorge Prado?”, as the defending MXGP World Champion has gone up a gear for Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing and won all but one Grand Prix race, taking home all three 1st place trophies from the opening three rounds.
Team HRC leader Tim Gasjer enjoys a boost in trackside support at Trentino, as thousands of fans from his home country of Slovenia flock to Northern Italy, bringing smoke flares and any noisy items they can bring to add to the incredible atmosphere of this Grand Prix. The five-time World Champion will be looking to tap into this in his efforts to prevent the reigning Champ from extending his 17-point lead in the Championship.
The MX2 World Championship has so far seen similar domination for Kay de Wolf of Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing, who has extended his points lead to 29 over Simon Laengenfelder of Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing. The Dutchman has won each GP so far, although reigning World MX2 Champion Andrea Adamo returns to the site of his first overall victory for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing last season, and is the undisputed major hope for a home winner for all of the local supporters who will flood the circuit this weekend.
