The 2024 Southwick National has arrived, marking the fifth round of the 11-race Pro Motocross series. Following a brief one-weekend break, the riders are now heading into the “sand pit” of Southwick, Massachusetts. The Southwick National is here, and the top riders should be fresh and ready to go after their first weekend off. Despite being a 450 rookie, it’s not surprising to see Hunter Lawrence leading the 450 Championship. His technique, race craft, and determination to win have been evident in the 250 class over the past few years. He concluded his 250 career with Championships in both the 250SX East Coast and 250 Outdoor series last year. He then continued to build momentum in his rookie 450 Supercross season, consistently running up front and securing two podiums with a second place in Denver and a third in St. Louis.
