Seth Hammaker and R.J. Hampshire come into the event tied in points. This is the second time in two weeks that Hammaker has shared the red plate. Initially, he shared it with Tom Vialle but after a few tough weekends, he dropped back in points. A few other riders have really come to light in the past few weekends. one of them being Max Vohland who can also pick up a win as the season comes to a close. The 450 class has been a battle between Chase Sexton and Cooper Webb. Sexton needs to grab a win in every main if he wants a chance to win the championship where Cooper Webb is in the driver’s seat for the remainder of the season and needs to manage the rest of his season. Ken Roczen has been up front all year as well, and even though battling through injury he tends to place himself up front when it comes race time.
