The 2023 Supercross season is finally coming to a wrap and while it may already have it’s winners, there’s still several spots in both 250 classes that need filling. On the west, Jett Lawrence dominated the field with Rj Hampshire and Enzo Lopes chasing in second and third. On the East, Hunter Lawrence also dominated with Haiden Deegan and Max Anstie filling out the podium. While the winners may already be known, we’re eager to see what the podium riders have left in the tank for the championship. But before we get to the racing we have to find out who’s quickest in Salt Lake City.
While the 2023 Supercross season may have kicked off with one of the most stacked rosters in SX history, it ended with only a handful of riders being able to cross the checkers. Countless injuries and crashes have plagued every class, but it hit harder in the 450 class as half of the factory field dropped out just rounds before the season ended. Last weekend, Eli Tomac was in charge of the championship until a ruptured Achilles heel would take the Yamaha rider out of the season allowing Chase Sexton to ultimately win the championship. Now that the winners in essentially titled and Eli having enough points to finish second, Ken Roczen will move up into third by the end of tonight.
