“I’m happy with the result because, you know, I didn’t really know if I was going to race this morning and I had a crash a few weeks back and and hurt my back pretty good. And been trying to rehab it and do everything I can to get it back to normal. Luckily it held up. First moto was really good and even the second moto at the beginning of the second moto was really good – then my back started kind of giving way on me. But overall, good to be here and good to get out clean and safe. It was a tough one to finish for sure. But you know, we gritted through it and I think we got the worst part out of the way and now we can just build up. And, like I said, I always love this place, the fans were cheering me on the whole way, and yeah, I’m stoked to get to Southwick and do some damage there,” he explained.
