With uncertainty surrounding the composition of the US team for this year’s event, Zach Osborne, a former top rider in both GP and AMA competitions, has volunteered to participate.
Initially, Aaron Plessinger and RJ Hampshire were expected to be part of the American team. However, assembling a complete MX2 rider lineup has proven challenging due to numerous riders changing sponsors in preparation for 2024.
While Osborne may no longer compete at the highest tier, he boasts a history as a GP rider and has previously represented the United States at this event. It is heartening to see his continued commitment. Perhaps some of the younger American riders could adopt a similar outlook towards the event.

“For the record, I have offered my services for MXdN and I’ve also offered to pay my own way with good equipment. I may not win but at this point it’s about getting a team to the race and showing we have the pride to at least be there”, Osborne revealed on social media.
