Trey Canard made a return to racing but quickly found himself back in the thick of the drama! In the pursuit of the lead, a collision occurred between Jay Wilson and Canard, resulting in a Did Not Finish (DNF) for Canard’s electric Honda. This unfortunate outcome was due to the throttle becoming lodged in the rear wheel of Wilson’s 450f Yamaha, highlighting the reluctance of conventional four-stroke engines to embrace electric technology.
