Vince Friese forcefully overtook Dean Wilson, reclaiming the lead following a situation where both riders crossed the yellow flag zone as Brayton and Aaron Tanti experienced a significant crash.
Subsequently, Friese received a penalty for his actions against Wilson. However, in the second race, Friese managed to overtake Wilson once more, this time after Wilson made contact with Savatgy. Friese, feeling the pressure, made an error that allowed Wilson to regain the lead. As the race progressed, Roczen, a strong competitor, moved up to fourth place by the halfway point, then passed Savatgy to secure third place. Roczen found himself trailing Friese once again, but he couldn’t make the pass, and Wilson ultimately claimed the victory.
Regarding the incident, Wilson expressed, “The debt has not been settled. That first race was disappointing. When Vince is behind you, you know he’s not afraid to make aggressive moves. He’s known for his rough riding and even brake checking in the back; I’ve never encountered anything like that before.”
