Coming into the eighth round of the 2024 Supercross season, riders hit the track for their qualifying sessions. Jett Lawrence leads Cooper Webb in the points standings by three. Riders like Chase Sexton and Aaron Plessinger are not out of it either as they have an opportunity today to close in on the leaders. However, Eli Tomac has been all the talk coming into this weekend as he has won Daytona seven times and would like to add an eighth time to the list. With possible rain on the horizon, it can be anyone’s race.
Haiden Deegan is looking to continue the momentum he had gained in Arlington last weekend but with possible weather coming into play, it can be anyone’s race. Max Anstie comes into Daytona as the points leader and will be pushing hard to maintain the position. Pierce Brown only trails Max Anstie by four points and Daxton Bennick trails by six so riders will be trying hard to close the gap into the lead. It all begins in qualifying.
