In second place in the championship, Cooper Webb had advanced to third position with Jett Lawrence leading in the opening race at Indy. However, Webb’s progress was hindered when two slower riders obstructed his path. Unfortunately, Grant Harlan unintentionally collided with Webb while trying to navigate the crowded track, leaving Webb with no room to maneuver.
Webb ended up finishing back in eighth in what is a hugely unlucky but very damaging for not only his hopes for an overall and keeping the points close with Jett.
