Today racing officially begins for the 2024 Pro motocross series. Heading into the event many riders are left injured but some of the heavy hitters are feeling good and confident to go racing. This weekend Haiden Deegan is excited to get back to his home track and show the local fans that he can be a dominant rider of the class. Levi Kitchen is coming off a runner-up position in the 2024 Supercross series and wants to carry that momentum into the motocross series. Unfortunately, Cameron McAdoo and Seth Hammaker are sidelined for the weekend but Ty Masterpool has stepped up to fill the role and is looking to put in a good result. 450s have returned for the continuation of the Supermotocross series. Jett Lawrence is not only coming off a recent Supercross championship he is also currently 22-0 in motocross. Chase Sexton has been feeling confident and is looking comfortable onboard his KTM which is a new team for him which he moved over to from Honda last year. Also on KTM Aaron Plessinger returns and will attempt to grab the win this weekend. Unfortunately for Star Racing Yamaha, both Cooper Webb and Eli Tomac will miss the opening rounds due to injury, but the team does have Justin Cooper on track who has been building since the final rounds of Supercross.
