Regarding the Fox Raceway Press Day incident, Coombs needed to take the blame and stand up and say clearly that they made a mistake. He needed to mentioned that they need to get more serious people and not volunteers who don’t know what they are doing to prevent such flagger incidents from happening again. Four riders went down, and Garrett Marchbanks got injured. The voice of MX Sports, Coombs, stated that it was a misunderstanding with the PA announcement and left his post.
