Joey Savatgy will not be racing in the upcoming SuperMotocross (SMX) Playoffs with Triumph Racing, according to a report from Steve Matthes. This leaves Jalek Swoll as the sole U.S. rider on the Triumph SMX team after Evan Ferry’s departure earlier this year. Savatgy, a seasoned rider, has had a challenging season with Triumph Racing in the Pro Motocross series, facing multiple issues throughout the year. Despite high expectations, he struggled to find consistency with his new team. However, rumors suggest that Savatgy may be making a move to a 450 team for the upcoming World Supercross (WSX) Championship.
