Justin Barcia made an impressive showing at the 2024 Weston Beach Race, finishing 7th overall, just six minutes behind race winner Conrad Mewse. Competing on a bone stock GASGAS 350, Barcia faced the challenge of making five pit stops for fuel, yet still managed to push through the grueling race with determination. Reflecting on the experience, Barcia shared, “On a bone stock 350 with 5 pit stops to get fuel, I think we had a good shot at it on a legit setup. Next time.”
Following the race, Barcia expressed his excitement for the future, posting, “So amazing here at Weston Beach Race. Checked a few sections out after the race today, wow it looks mega. Broke in an off-the-showroom-floor GASGAS 350 thanks to SC Sporthomes and Marsh Powersports for sorting it out! Gonna line up tomorrow with the boys…we won’t be competing for the win this year, just going to do a few laps, enjoy it, and have some fun before heading back to the States to get back to business. I will definitely be back in the future with a bike set up properly to give the 3-hour race a fair shot.” With his sights set on future challenges, Barcia’s passion for the event remains strong.
