After ten unforgettable years, LACR is facing a potential closure due to insurance issues. As of November 29th, their policy will not renew, and despite exhausting all options, finding new coverage has proven nearly impossible due to recent litigations.
The LACR team, led by Anthony and Jack, is seeking any help or ideas from the community to keep the track alive. They’ll still celebrate their 10-year anniversary this weekend with a special combined track layout, inviting everyone for what might be a final ride.
LACR has been more than a track—it’s been a home for riders and fans. While the future is uncertain, the LACR family remains hopeful, grateful for the years of support, and committed to finding a way forward.
Official update –
As I sit down to write this letter, my heart feels heavy with a sense of loss. After ten incredible years, it is with profound sadness that I must share the news of LACR’s dire situation. As of November 29th our insurance will no longer renew our policy, we have been through this before but this time is a little different. We have exhausted all of our broker’s markets for insurance. With the recent litigations finding coverage is next to impossible. We want you to know we are fighting to keep the track going and open to all help and ideas from all of you. LACR has been more than just a facility; it has been a home and gathering place for all of us. Your support and commitment have meant everything to us over the years. We would not be here without you. We are still celebrating our 10 year anniversary this weekend, with a combined track layout for practice, we hope everyone can make it out if it’s for our one last ride. As of right now this will be our last weekend open. We hope to find a solution to this and keep the LACR you know and love open.
