Cameron McAdoo withdraws from the 2025 Supercross season to undergo surgery for a torn ACL after pushing through the first two rounds.
McAdoo said: “I didn’t race the main event in Daytona last weekend, after the practice and the hear race, there was a few moments on track that made me realise I was very low on strength with my leg and obviously my safety and all the other riders on track safety is the most important thing.
“For me to race at the highest level it had become not safe we felt. So the team and I came together to get my knee fixed up. It’s a tough decision for me, I always want to be out on track trying my hardest. But it was time, this week I have surgery scheduled for Thursday and looking forward to getting fixed up.”
Cameron McAdoo announced via IG that he will miss the remainder of the @MonsterEnergy AMA Supercross Series due to a knee injury, for which he will undergo surgery later this week.#SMX #SupercrossLIVE #Kawasaki pic.twitter.com/VWRGqzAEoC
