Daxton Bennick sustained a concussion this past weekend during the 250SX Main Event at the Philadelphia Supercross. According to eyewitnesses and close sources, Bennick was knocked unconscious for approximately 30 seconds and experienced convulsions as he began to regain consciousness on the track.
This marks Bennick’s second reported concussion of the 2025 season. He previously suffered a head injury in February during a practice crash, which forced him to sit out the Detroit Supercross. Following the latest incident in Philadelphia, Bennick was transported to a local hospital and has since been released.
With the 250SX West division on a two-week break, Bennick will enter the AMA’s concussion protocol and focus on recovery. The next round for the West region is scheduled for May 3 at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado.
As of now, Bennick sits 8th in the 2025 250SX West Championship standings with 60 points.
