The 2025 FIM Motocross World Championship reaches its halfway point with round ten this weekend, and it’s the classic Talkessel circuit in the municipality of Teutschenthal that the teams will head to, straight from northern France to the Liqui Moly MXGP of Germany. Located to the east of the central European country, the typically Teutonic grassland always attracts a passionate crowd that should have plenty to cheer for in 2025!
For local fans, the main races of interest will be in the MX2 class, as local man Simon Laengenfelder – coming from the town of Hof, only 150km away – will hold the red plate for the first time in over three years as he leads the World Championship by 11 points following a brilliant double win in France! Will he ramp up the atmosphere with another victory on home ground?!
The MXGP races are sure to make for some great racing as well, with Championship leader Romain Febvre fresh from a great win on home territory in France, but having to deal with the threat of teenage rookie Lucas Coenen, who has a great record around the Talkessel circuit and could be a real handful!
