Race week is finally here as the 2026 Monster Energy SMX World Championship heads into the second half of the season with the start of the Pro Motocross Championship. The 55th season, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, will feature 11 rounds and a total of 44 motos as riders battle through a long and demanding summer chasing the Edison Dye Cup in the 450SMX Class and the Gary Jones Cup in the 250SMX Class.
As tradition continues, the season kicks off in Southern California at the iconic Fox Raceway at Pala, where the first challenge of the outdoor campaign awaits. Saturday’s opener, the Pala Casino Spa Golf Resort Fox Raceway National Presented by Fox Racing, returns in partnership with the Pala Band of Mission Indians and Pala Casino as anticipation builds for another massive Pro Motocross season.
