Guillem Farres wins MX2 Moto 1 in Italy, continuing his strong form and closing in on the championship lead. Sacha Coenen finished second, with defending champion Simon Längenfelder rounding out the podium in third.

Sacha Coenen claimed the MXGP of Italy overall with a consistent 2-2 performance. Despite a tough day in the heat, the Belgian got the job done. Guillem Farres finished second overall (1-5), while Liam Everts completed the podium with 4-3 results.
