The Covid 19 crisis is not behind us yet. Even though the 2022 US SX Championship finally returns to California, nothing is quite the same yet. The traditional Anaheim 1 press conference always creates a buzz every year. The riders send spikes there and sometimes take the opportunity to settle scores. It is also an opportunity to see them all in the same place before the start of the rivalry. The pressure is palpable, the excitement is at its peak. The atmosphere is unique.

Unfortunately, it’s old history next year because the presentation of this new 2022 season will be done virtually twice on the Zoom application: Tuesday January 4 for the 450 category and Thursday January 6 for the 250 The idea of having 200 people gathered in one closed place at the dawn of a new season was certainly not a good idea as Covid cases intensify in the country.
The riders will still have the opportunity to discover and ride on the track on Friday, the day before the 1st event.
