Dramatic Incident at the NRG Stadium: Dylan Ferrandis and Ken Roczen Collide
The NRG stadium was the setting for a dramatic incident at the end of the race, as Dylan Ferrandis tried to overtake Ken Roczen. However, the attempt was unsuccessful, resulting in the two motorcycles touching each other and Ferrandis being violently thrown to the ground.
The impact was severe, with the Frenchman’s helmet hitting the ground with great force. He lay on his back, unconscious, for several minutes, causing alarm among the spectators and the medical team. The race was immediately stopped as the doctors of the Alpinestars mobile clinic rushed to the scene to attend to Ferrandis.
The tension was palpable as time seemed to stand still. Three minutes went by, and a sense of urgency was felt. But then, to the relief of everyone present, one of Ferrandis’s legs suddenly moved, followed by the other. Encouragement went up from the public as they saw signs of movement from the racer.
At the NRG stadium, a moment of hesitation filled the air as Dylan Ferrandis lay motionless on the ground following a collision with Ken Roczen. However, the wait was not in vain as the Yamaha rider, with the help of the doctors from the Alpinestars mobile clinic, slowly rose to his feet. One of the medical professionals held his neck with a collar, and the relief on the track was palpable. The audience erupted in applause as they saw Dylan getting back on his feet.
Although the bikes were ready to restart the race, the medical team decided to take Dylan to the Alpinestars semi-trailer for a more thorough examination. After being checked over, the Yamaha rider was “released,” much to the relief of all those present. Nastasia, Dylan’s companion, had a hard time holding back her tears, but the worst was finally over.
Ferrandis posted on social media – I’m okay after my crash in main event, I hit my head first and got knock out for some minutes… Everything else is fine and I am okay now fortunately. Will follow the concussion protocole and will see when I can ride again. Sorry. Big thanks to medical crew
