Things are closer than ever after the seventh round in the points chase as Eli Tomac leads the charge with Cooper Webb only two points behind and Chase Sexton just 5 points back. However things are changing this year at Daytona, by not changing. Ricky Carmichael, who has been designing the track layout for years now, has elected to keep the track layout the same so that the riders may “master” the course just like an outdoors track or a road course.
