Anton Gole recently made his debut in the AMA National series over the weekend at the sandy Southwick track. Despite being unfamiliar with the circuit, the talented Swede delivered an impressive performance during qualifying, clocking the seventh fastest lap time.
However, things didn’t go according to plan in the moto’s as Gole struggled with the heat and collapsed after the first moto ruling him out of race two. Thankfully he has escaped any major injury and will be racing this weekend.
“Damn disappointed in myself and my skinny body… unfortunately I won’t start in race two today. Collapsed after the first heat, feeling okay now but very disappointed… Incredibly grateful for everyone at home and people on site who support, so extra sad not to be able to deliver. Disappointed is just the first name but what a journey this has been so far. Met so many nice people and had so much fun, so nothing to really complain about. We are taking new steps for next weekend”, Gole stated on social media.
