A heated incident unfolded during qualifying as Braden Spangle and another rider became embroiled in a high-stakes on-track altercation. The clash resulted in both riders being disqualified for the evening, marking a dramatic turn of events.
The conflict began when Spangle was on a hot lap, attempting to set a fast qualifying time. During this critical moment, another rider passed him, disrupting his momentum. The move seemed to spark frustration, leading to an aggressive response. Spangle retaliated by making hard contact with the rider in the following turn, a collision described as so intense that the second rider landed on Spangle’s bike. The aftermath of the crash left the rider with injuries caused by the spinning tire and chain.
As a result of the incident, both Spangle and the other rider were disqualified from the night’s racing program. While this disqualification severely impacted the other competitor, Spangle was reportedly not scheduled to participate in the main event, minimizing the consequences for him.
Braden Spangle – “All you guys with your panties in a wad, I passed him while he was on his hot lap and he got mad and drilled me in the next turn out of no where so hard that I landed on his bike while the chain and tire was taring up my body. They took my fast lap away and I am DQ’d from racing tonight as well as him.. but he wasn’t even in the night show so it doesn’t even matter”
