Antonio Cairoli weighed in on Tim Gajser’s crash that led to a dislocated shoulder, pointing to poor track conditions in Switzerland. He claimed the layout wasn’t suited for today’s bikes, highlighting a mound of dirt placed dangerously inside the track markers—exactly where Gajser went down.
Cairoli said on Tim’s Instagram page: “Those kind of tracks were good for the bikes 30 years ago…Tracks definitely need to step it up with safety and prep between practice and races. But we already said this plenty of times. Get well soon Tim!! Hope your injury is not too bad.”

And Cairoli wasn’t the only one not hapoy with the track with Jeffrey Herlings saying: “what a horrible track.”
