In a disappointing turn of events, Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Carson Mumford encountered a major setback during the first practice session today at Thunder Valley, cutting his day short. Despite his valiant effort to continue in the second practice, the injuries sustained from the incident proved too significant to overcome. The presence of a prominent kicker on the jump’s face led to an unintended encounter with a rut, resulting in a spectacular Superman-like crash. Fortunately, no bones were broken, but Mumford now requires some well-deserved rest to recover. He extends his heartfelt apologies to his supporters and expresses regret for letting them down on this occasion.
Mumford – Unfortunately had a big get off in the first practice today that ended things early. I tried to go back out for the second practice but was just to banged up. There was a big kicker on the face of the jump and I tried to miss it and ended up grabbing my foot on a rut and going full Superman. Nothing broken just need some rest. Sorry to everyone that supports me and the people I let down today.
