After a disappointing setback before Oakland Supercross, Pro Circuit Kawasaki is ready to bounce back at the upcoming Supercross event in Seattle. The good news is that the team will finally have Carson Mumford making his debut this weekend, after he had to sit out due to an wrist injury.
Although missing the Oakland round may have been frustrating for both Mumford and the team, it was undoubtedly the best decision for his health and safety. Pro Circuit confirmed that Mumford was being treated for an injury, and the team was looking forward to his return in Seattle. The extra time off may have even given him the opportunity to heal up and prepare even more thoroughly for his debut.
Carson Mumford posted on IG – “Been quiet on here lately, so here’s a little update! Was getting ready for Oakland sx with about 2 weeks on the bike after my wrist injury and was in a rhythm section and felt a big pop in my calf muscle. Didn’t crash or anything and ended up tearing it. Unfortunately missed Oakland and had to rest up off the bike until I made a full recovery. Finally last week was able to get a full week of riding and training under my belt! The plan now is to get a few more days of riding in before flying out and putting the bike on the race track for Seattle !”
