Ellie Reed provides an update on Chad on social media *wanted to wait till he was done and ok before sharing.
@dr_steveandrews and Sally and the team – you’re incredible. The highest level of care above and beyond just the surgery and we are both so grateful. We got scans, X-rays , surgery on arm and hand, fed him breakfast, met with the therapy team for shoulder , then his hand, did a newspaper interview, had a visit from a friend with a matching cast, had more friends stop by and then dropped of at the airport and going to see our kids. It’s been the wildest 48hrs. Accomplished the goal. Pretty sure we set a record. Although I did hear Toby beat Chad or was it bc he was in first. Days of thunder racing vibes. It’s never fun to have surgery but it is important to be handled with care and to feel the love. THANKYOU for all the love and support from EVERYONE! And thanks Natty and Tayla for having the day off yesterday to love on me – while chad was in surgery for 4-5 hrs!
