Firstly, Joey Savatgy announced yesterday that he has struck a deal with the Monster Energy Kawasaki team, confirming the rumors we had previously looked at. Secondly, lets look at Star Yamaha’s 250 riders. It seems the recently crowned 250 West champion Christian Craig is linked to Rockstar Energy Husqvarna. Not only is he linked, it sounds like they offered him a two year 450 deal for Supercross and Motocross. Rumor are that he has already signed the contract and will be announced by the end of the week..

The next silly season rumor making its rounds through the pits is that Justin Cooper will be staying at Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha. As this season is his last on the 250, it sounds like Star Yamaha offered him a 450 deal for next year. The other 2021 250 champ Colt Nichols on the other hand, seems to have very few options on the table. Not much is known as to where he will go but it seems Star Yamaha is letting him go. Now let’s take a look at the riders who may be picked up by Monster Energy Star Yamaha. Star Yamaha claimed they are looking for championship level riders.

The first rider that is linked to Star is Jordan Smith. Smith currently rides for Firepower Honda and finished 6th in this years supercross season. But in years past he has made it to the final round and still had a chance at the title, this is the biggest reason for Star’s interest. Rumor has it they have indeed offered him a deal. Next up is Stilez Robertson. Robertson currently rides for Rockstar Energy Husqvarna and it is claimed that they offered him another 1 year contract. Star Yamaha offered him a 2 year contract and it sounds likely that he will take it.

Everybody wondered about Adam Cianciarulo, latest rumors are that he has re-signed with Monster Energy Factory Kawasaki with a significant pay cut…
