After mutually parting ways with Red Bull KTM midway through the season, Cooper Webb has shared his personal remarks on the matter.
Cooper Webb posted –
Forever grateful for the opportunity that Roger, Ian and the entire @redbull@ktmfactoryracing team gave me. It has been one hell of a ride and I’m proud of what we accomplished these past five seasons.
Together, we’ve decided to go our own ways following my practice crash last week, which will leave me out for the rest of summer.
See you at the races soon
The KTM and Webb saga continues. Corpo KTM said they have to run the cone valves.. Coop signed and delivered for next years means ✌🏽 I'm not riding on components I'm not comfy on. Can't blame him

What lies ahead for Webb? Speculation is rife that Webb might join Star Yamaha, with strong indications that Eli Tomac will also return in 2024 for supercross events only. This would potentially make them teammates after their fierce championship battle this year. Webb’s statement, “See you at the races soon,” raises the question of whether he will compete before A1 2024. Is it possible that Webb might even ride SMX this year on a Yamaha? Numerous questions remain unanswered at the moment.
