Ricky Carmichael revealed that the Deegan family helped arrange a private jet for Cole Davies so he could get top-tier surgery for his broken arm—a truly generous gesture.
Ironically, just a week earlier, Haiden Deegan had taken Davies out of contention while battling for the win. But when Davies was left motionless during practice last Saturday, it was Haiden who handed his bike to his mechanic and ran over to check on him.
Ryan Villopoto and Ricky Carmichael revealed the help the Deegan family gave Davies, saying: “Deegans helped facilitate a private jet for Cole and his family to get to Vale so Cole could have his surgery…Deegan had someone who had a private jet in the Salt Lake area and they donated that to get Cole there.”
