The unveiling of the Ducati factory motocross team is scheduled for the upcoming weekend, alongside the presentation of other official Ducati Corse teams at the Campioni in Pista event from January 21 to 23. As part of the “Campioni in Festa” celebration, Ducati will spotlight its future endeavors, marking a significant milestone in the racing world – the venture into motocross, making its debut in the Italian MX 2024 Championship.
Next week the official presentation of the 2024 Ducati Corse Off-Road team, Lenovo Team MotoGP, the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati WorldSBK team will be held on January 22nd at 10:30am (CET) (09:30am UK time). The presentation will be available to watch on the official Ducati YouTube live and shortly after images of the Ducati MX bike are expected to be shared with the media.
Even though Ducati have done a great job keeping the bike a secret, what we do already know is the following:
- Maddii Racing team to run the Ducati MXGP team after signing a multi-year project
- Will contest selected MXGP events in 2024 but mainly focus on the Italian Championship
- Antonio Cairoli and Alessandro Lupino will race and test the new machine in 2024. Both have been signed as racing and test riders
- Ducati will contest the entire MXGP World Championship in 2025 – the riders are still to be confirmed for the brands first full year racing MXGP
- Paolo Ciabatti who has been involved in the MotoGP for a number of years has been appointed General Manager of the new Ducati Corse Off-Road
“Training begins, the development of the bike proceeds and finally everyone will see it in its splendor next week in #madonnadicampiglio for the official presentation. Have we made you wait long enough?”, Cairoli shared on social media.
