Eli Tomac experienced a challenging day at the 2025 Hangtown Motocross Classic, finishing fourth overall in the 450 Class. He secured first place in the first moto but encountered difficulties in the second moto, which affected his overall standing.
Reflecting on the race, Tomac shared:
“I got hit by the guy next to me — I think it was Valentin Guillod — just outside the rut, and then I made a mistake on my own when I was running sixth or seventh. I washed the front end out, and that pretty much ruined the day for me. I probably would’ve had a good shot at charging toward the front if it weren’t for that crash. But once that happened, it was game over.”
Despite the setback, Tomac’s performance keeps him in contention for the championship.
