The latest news regarding Guillem Farres and Carson Mumford suggests that they will both change teams for the 2024 Season. This information has been confirmed by Steve Matthes and Jason Weigandt, who are individuals familiar with the early rumors in the sport.
Guillem Farres, who raced in the final two Pro Motocross events with the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing team in 2022, had been training for Pro Motocross with the squad since the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations, and his dedication showed. The Spanish native had a strong start in the competitive 250 Class, finishing 8th, 5th, 6th, and 8th in the first four motos of the year, resulting in eighth and seventh overall placements, respectively. Unfortunately, Farres suffered a broken arm at Thunder Valley National and was ruled out for the 2023 Season. Given the latest information about Jalek Swoll changing teams in 2024 (likely to Triumph, though not confirmed yet), Farres will take Swoll’s place in the Rockstar Energy Factory Husqvarna 250 Squad.
Steve Matthes has confirmed that Carson Mumford is set to join the MotoConcepts Racing Honda team for the 2024 Season! Mumford had a solid fill-in season for Austin Forkner. Currently, Mumford holds the 18th place in SMX points and is set to complete the SuperMotocross Season with Pro Circuit Kawasaki!
