Unfortunately, Star Racing Yamaha’s Jeremy Martin will miss another 250 Supercross season due to injury. Jeremy Martin hurt his shoulder during a routine training day at the Star Racing facility in Tallahassee, Florida, on Wednesday, March 2nd, leading up to the Daytona Supercross. The extent of how bad his shoulder injury was didn’t become public knowledge until Monday, March 7th, when the team announced that they had signed Kyle Chisholm to carry the 250 East team while Jeremy and Levi Kitchen recover.
Jeremy Martin was fourth at Minneapolis which was the first 250 East race. Then, he was second overall at the Arlington Supercross triple crown.
Star Racing stated: “Jeremy Martin injured his shoulder in a practice crash before the Daytona Supercross. The two-time AMA Pro Motocross Champion underwent a successful surgery over the weekend and will focus on returning for the start of the outdoor season. Levi Kitchen continues to work on his recovery from a knee injury sustained from a crash in the first main event of the Triple Crown in Arlington, and an announcement of his return will come at a later date.”
