Jett Lawrence on Glendale – “It Was a Cool Accomplishment to Catch and Pass Eli”

    By DirtbikeLoverFebruary 11, 2024No Comments1 Min Read

Progressive Ecstar Suzuki rider Ken Roczen has won the Glendale Supercross with a flag to flag victory. Second was former champion Monster Energy Kawasaki Jason Anderson and third Honda HRC Jett Lawrence. Lawrence who started around 10th place also took over the points lead from Chase Sexton, who was riding injured and finished back in the pack. It was Roczen’s 22nd win of his career and took him to 10th in the all-time winners list.

Jett Lawrence said: For sure I like traction, but it was cool to learn from these slippery conditions and for sure on the 450 with so much power. I got a terrible start, but it was a cool accomplishment to catch and pass Eli and happy to get a podium position. It was hard to catch up with similar speeds. First lap I tried to force around the outside (on Cooper Webb) and we were able to get him and get on the box.
