Joey Savatgy suffered a massive crash at Indy while running inside the top ten and battling with Ken Roczen. Unfortunately, the Honda rider went over the bars in a big rhythm section, bringing his night to a painful end.
Savatgy eventually walked off with help from the medics but he was not okay with the Honda rider giving an injury update today, saying: “Had a good night going and felt like I hit the same line as the laps prior. But clearly I made a mistake or something. Punctured lung and some broken ribs.”
