Joey Savatgy Parting Ways With Triumph Racing And Out Of SMX!

    By DirtbikeLoverSeptember 4, 2024No Comments1 Min Read

Joey Savatgy will not be racing in the upcoming SuperMotocross (SMX) Playoffs with Triumph Racing, according to a report from Steve Matthes. This leaves Jalek Swoll as the sole U.S. rider on the Triumph SMX team after Evan Ferry’s departure earlier this year. Savatgy, a seasoned rider, has had a challenging season with Triumph Racing in the Pro Motocross series, facing multiple issues throughout the year. Despite high expectations, he struggled to find consistency with his new team. However, rumors suggest that Savatgy may be making a move to a 450 team for the upcoming World Supercross (WSX) Championship.

Steve Matthes is reporting Joey Savatgy is not going to race the @SuperMotocross Playoffs with Triumph Racing.
This will make Jalek Swoll the sole remaining rider on the U.S. SMX team after Evan Ferry left the team in April. #Supermotocross #SMX #SMX2024 https://t.co/XPQmYLEr77
