Racer X confirmed that Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Jorge Prado went down hard while testing last week. He hit his head but did not break any bones or sustain other injuries. Prado took a few days off from riding and missed the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) media day at Angel Stadium. However, he has already resumed cycling. His team aims to have him at 100 percent for Anaheim 1 next month, so he took it easy and is expected to return to motorcycle training soon, likely starting this week.
“I had a crash last week and hit my head and my arm,” said Prado, who was supposed to fly to Spain for tonight’s FIM Gala as the 2024 FIM Motocross World Championship MXGP Champion.
