Rumor this week that we’ll see Josh Hill filling in for the injured Benny Bloss aboard Tedder Racing’s KTM 450 SX-F. Not sure if it’s all-season as I don’t know the timeline on Benny’s injuries.
As a last minute fill-in for 450 Supercross, Josh would seem to be a great pick for them. He’s adapts quickly to new bikes and his relationship with Monster Energy works well as the team’s primary branding is Monster as well.
Hill was recently seen on Social Media Instagram – stories riding with a black KTM, so we will see both Hills in 450SX at Anaheim1 2022, who would’ve thought?
Hill said: “I got a call from my friend @dakota the day before Christmas that unfortunately @bbloss73 had gotten injured. So I will be filling in on @_teamtedder until he is back to 100%. Stoked to bring along my sponsors @mountainmotorsports_ and @foxmoto @ridedunlop and of course @monsterenergy . With just over a week notice, It’s going to be tuff to be up to pace. But I’m stoked to be back racing at Anaheim. This video is from the @mesquitemoto sx track.”
Bloss said: “Not the post I want to be making but unfortunately I had a crash on Tuesday and am going to miss the start of the sx season. Thankfully I was able to get my ankle fixed yesterday and I’m on the road to recovery. Not sure exactly how long I’ll be out but I’m doing everything I can to be back as soon as possible! Big thanks to everyone who’s helped out over the last few days and my team for staying behind me!”
