In Episode 598 of the PulpMX Show, Justin Cooper confirmed that he has re-signed with the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing team for next year. Cooper finished sixth in the championship during his first full 450SX season in Monster Energy AMA Supercross—after doing a few mid-season races in 2023. His best result was a second-place finish at the Salt Lake City Supercross season finale in his 16th main event start. In his debut season in the premier class of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, Cooper placed fourth overall, earning two podium finishes and a season-best third place in six motos. The New York native also led several laps in Pro Motocross, marking an impressive rookie season.
“Just one more year with them for now,” Cooper told Steve Matthes of his new deal. “It’s been a really good year. They’re pleased, I’m pleased. We have a good base going into next year. It’s been all good, no reason not to do it again.”
