    Matt Moss Returns To Racing With BarX Suzuki As a Fill- In Rider

    BarX Suzuki team announced yesterday that they signed Matt Moss the Australian for the remainder of the 250SX West Region. Moss will make his debut at the rescheduled Oakland round next Saturday, Feb. 18. 

    “BarX Suzuki would like to give a warm welcome to our newest rider Matt Moss,” the team wrote. “He has come all the way from Australia to join our team for the remainder of the Supercross season.”

    Matt Moss last race in the US was back in February 8, 2014, when he finished 22nd in the 450 class in San Diego. He has a career SX podium, he finished third in the 250SX in San Diego in 2012.

    Moss was signed to race the FIM World Supercross Championship with Bud Racing Kawasaki to compete in MX2. He finished 10-8 at the two rounds in 2022. 

    BarX also announced that Brandon Scharer will finish the remainder of the West Region with the team. He was a late fill-in for the injured Derek Drake at the last West round at Anaheim 2, where he finished 19th overall.
